Readme

PinYin

Convert Chinese characters to Pinyin or Zhuyin with selectable tone output.

Usage

Select Chinese text and choose PinYin or Zhuyin from the submenu. Configure tone marks, tone numbers, or no tones independently for Pinyin and Zhuyin in the extension settings. Characters not found in the dictionaries are kept unchanged.

Use the Output setting to choose between Show Result Only, Show and Copy, or Copy Only. The default is Show and Copy.

Clipboard troubleshooting

If an older installation no longer copies the converted text, reinstall the latest version and select Show and Copy or Copy Only in the Output setting. This makes clipboard behavior explicit and addresses Issue #7.
