Underline

Underline selected text in the current app with PopClip. Like Highlight, this extension sends an app-specific keyboard shortcut.

Usage

Select text, then click Underline in PopClip. The button appears only in the apps listed below. The app handles formatting, annotation colour and undo.

The selected text must support formatting or PDF annotation. Scanned PDFs need OCR before their text can be selected. Custom app shortcuts may override the defaults above.

The extension sends only keyboard shortcuts. It does not insert markup, replace text or send selected text over the network. Its app list differs from Highlight's because underline commands are not available in every app.

Scrivener 2, DEVONthink 2 and Alternote mappings have not been tested in those versions. PDFpen uses its older documented shortcut; Nitro PDF Pro is not included.

Installation

Open Underline.popclipext with PopClip. To install a source update, open the package again; editing its files does not update PopClip's installed copy.
